Osteopathic Clinic
Osteopathy is a form of manual medicine that works by correcting alignment and restoring mobility in the spine and joints, decreasing muscular tension, reducing nerve irritation and increasing blood flow.
If you’re seeking relief from aches, pains or injuries, our Osteopathic Clinic offers comprehensive, holistic and affordable treatment for a range of issues including:
- sporting injuries
- rehabilitation
- spinal and joint aches and pains
- ankle, knee and shoulder injuries
- headaches
- postural problems
- reduced mobility
- sciatic irritation and sciatica
Each treatment is 45-90 minutes long and performed by a third or fourth-year student under supervision of a registered osteopath. A doctor’s referral isn’t required.
Appointments cost $50, or $25 if covered by ACC. Discounts are available to Ara students and staff, retirees and community services cardholders.
